I am proud to have recently been included among the various celebrated artists on exhibit at the Tinca Art Gallery on the High Street in Portishead. The images below are hung as large canvases. 48"x18" in size. The have been attracting a lot of interest and sales have already been made. Smaller photographs are available and different images will be appearing on rotation.
I am very excited about developing the fine art part of my photography and the Tinca Gallery is a quality art gallery with a great vibe in which to do this. The director Marian Eyre and her gallery are a great asset to the Portishead community and if you are in town, you should definitely stop by.

The deafening noise was a dead giveaway as the helicopter hovered outside our balcony looking for a place to land. The pilot considered the local schoolyard but the school gates were closed so he chose the grassy area by the leisure centre just across the road.
It was a response to a patient in critical condition and I was told that due to the confined nature of the chopper's interior, the patient would be taken to hospital via road so he/she could be tended to while in transit. This helicopter is 20 years old and although it has room for a patient, it doesn't have enough space for that patient to be administered to by a doctor while en route to hospital.
The amazing thing is that this air ambulance service is made possible through charitable donations. They are excited about the possibility of getting a more modern aircraft with more space. It all depends on the funds available to them through the charity. I hope the patient was able to make a successful recovery.
I have been having great success with my panoramic canvases. Unfortunately, the home they have enjoyed for the last year is no longer ,so I'll have to find other locations to showcase them.

My UK blog is way overdue... Here goes. It seems fitting to start with some fun shots from a recent photo shoot at the Whitchurch Dance Studio in Bristol. The students and their principal, Anne Webber were great to work with and I'm looking forward to photographing their show at The Redgrave Theatre in Clifton, Bristol. Their performances run Monday through Saturday starting 25th March.
